Award-winning comic book artist to teach class in Largo

An award-winning illustrator and comic book artist is set to teach summer camp in Largo.

Peter Pachoumis will be teaching the basics of drawing comic book characters this summer as part of the Comic Book and Cartooning Camp in Largo.

Pachoumis' work has appeared in the pages of DC Comics, Image Comics, Wildstorm Comics and Popular Science. He has also contributed illustrations to Star Wars, Star Trek, The Terminator and Disney's Hercules.

The camps will run July 7-11 and August 4-8 at Highlands Recreation Complex and is for children ages 11 through 16.
