A new master plan is in the works for Tampa's Channelside.
New owner Jeff Vinik and his development group are drawing up a to-do list. First they want to bring the entire complex up to code and address any safety issues, as well as other concerns the tenants may have.
Then, they'll start deciding what businesses they want to bring in to the new Channelside.
Lightning owner Jeff Vinik now controls 23 acres in that area.
