Lisa Miller is running for the District 7 seat on the Polk County School Board.
1. Why are you running for this office?
To bring a hands on approach to solving the issues affecting students and teachers in Polk County.
2. Why do you think you are the best qualified candidate for the office?
I am the candidate that will make a commitment to solutions and not excuses.
My previous experience in the classroom and my current experience on executive boards locally and at the state level gives me insight to increasing outcomes in the most cost effective manner.
3. If you are elected, what will be your top priorities?
- Improve outcomes for ALL students
- Improve communication between the district and schools
- Increase behavior supports and interventions
