A Florida missing child alert has been issued for a Lutz teenager who is believed to be endangered.

Elijah A. Hosein, 16, was reported missing at 11 p.m. Wednesday after his parents noticed he had left his home on Wingrove Lane in his beige 2002 Honda Accord.

Officials said Hosein left a note that possibly indicated he may harm himself.

This is the first time Hosein has left home, officials said. He is known to frequent Curtis Hixon Park and the Channelside area.

Hosein is described as standing 6'2" and weighing about 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.  He may be in his Honda Accord, which has FL temporary tag BFB0318,
