A van made a big mess in Port Richey on Monday after it ran into a house.
A witness said the driver claimed she tried to slam on the brakes but got distracted when her husband hollered at her. She accidentally hit the gas instead.
“The van was past the passenger door into the house and by the time they pulled it out, I mean I’ve got pictures from the inside and it is destroyed in there,” said neighbor Marquis Perez.
The family who lives in the home was at church at the time so no one was injured.
