A year ago, dancing in a video was the last thing on Horizon Homecare physical therapist Josie Argoncillo’s mind.

“It was downhill for me, I was at my very lowest point...yeah, so it was hard,”  said Argoncillo.

Argoncillo was in the middle of a tough fight with an aggressive case of breast cancer.

“I thought it was the end of the world, so it was bad,” said Argoncillo

The aggressive cancer wasn’t enough to defeat Josie. She underwent three surgeries and six sessions of chemotherapy and the cancer is now in remission.

Her coworkers are featuring her fight in a video for competition.

They’re entering their production in the 2014 Medline Pink Glove dance competition in hopes of winning $10,000, which will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Argoncillo is one of over 160 participants who wore pink gloves and pink shirts. Some participants featured in the video are local cancer survivors, while others were from the local school, hospital and church.
