A missing toddler has been found.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, 2-year-old Leroy Tyrese Carlyle was brought in to the Sheriff's Operations Center by a family member a short time ago.

HCSO's Child Protective Investigations Division will take custody of the toddler, who will be placed into foster care.

Deputies were concerned because they believed the boy was in the custody of his mother.

They said several of the woman's other children have already been removed from her custody. Deputies said she currently lacks the ability to provide adequate food and shelter.
