A driver police who say was drunk was arrested Tuesday night after crashing into an ambulance on the Davis Island Bridge near Tampa General Hospital.
Elliott Ingram, 41, was arrested after crashing his 2000 Toyota Sienna mini-van into the ambulance and showing signs of impairment, police said. He was charged with DUI crash with injury.
American Ambulance employees were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
