The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office busted a grow house Wednesday and confiscated more than $100,000 worth of marijuana.

Roberto Diaz Tamarit, 38, and Carmen Sanchez, 44, were taken into custody after deputies executed a search warrant at 1716 East Navajo Avenue in Tampa.

During the search, detectives discovered three separate rooms inside the home being used for growing marijuana. The street value of the pot was $112,950.

Deputies said each room contained several large marijuana plants with multiple high sodium vapor lights, ballasts and fans. Detectives recovered a total of 60 marijuana plants within the residence.

Tampa Electric Company officials responded to the home and discovered an illegal electrical connection providing unmetered electricity to the home. The estimated theft of electricity was $5,183.47.

Tamarit and Sanchez were each charged with trafficking in marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, third degree grand theft and owning, leasing or renting for the purpose of trafficking.
