A Pinellas County man accused of murdering his estranged girlfriend and their baby in 2010 will be sentenced this week.

Craig Wall, 39, was found guilty last week of killing his 5-week-old son in Clearwater and stabbing his girlfriend Laura Taft, 29, to death less than two weeks later.

Wall told the judge that he wanted to be sentenced to death and pleaded guilty to brutally killing Taft. However, he plead no contest to killing his son.

The sentencing phase will begin Monday.

Wall has said he will represent himself.
