A pedestrian was killed Thursday morning in a Citrus County crash.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 7 a.m. on northbound US Highway 19 at Grover Cleveland Boulevard.
Troopers said 86-year-old Roy Daubenspeck of Homosassa was killed when he was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Daubenspeck was struck while trying to cross US 19.
The driver of the truck, 54-year-old Christopher Walter Benton, was not injured in the crash.
