A St. Petersburg woman died after she suffered a medical emergency and crashed into a PSTA bus, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Jennifer Hall Brugnoli, 54, was driving southbound on 66th Street N at 8:10 a.m. when troopers said she had a medical emergency and lost control of her 1999 Ford.

Brugnoli's Ford then crashed into the rear of a PSTA bus that had stopped at a bus stop in the outside southbound lane of 66th Street.

Brugnoli was taken to St. Petersburg General Hospital, where she later died.
