It’s that time of the year again where trees are loaded with pollen making so many people miserable with allergies.

Samantha Green has plenty of experience with fighting the pollen. She's loading up her medicine cabinet because both of her daughters are struggling with the pollen.

"The girls haven't really ever had allergies until this season, it just crazy," said Green.

Green's 8-year-old-daughter Addison even had to miss school because her eyes were so swollen.

Allergist Sami Nallamshetty said she's been seeing a lot of cases like Addison's lately - especially this year.

"This season started a lot earlier this year because we had a very mild winter," said Nallamshetty.

Nallamshetty said aside from taking medicine, those who suffer from allergies should keep their cars and home windows shut.

Green is starting this allergy season frustrated.

"It's tough because you want your kids to feel better," said Samantha Green. "You can't really prevent it or fix it."
