Posimoto-Changing Faces in Temple Terrace is a new type of afterschool program that incorporates weekday afterschool and Saturday mentoring and sports curriculum to give students a little push in the right direction.

"Growing up you never know that there are so many people that actually care about you, that care to see you succeed," said Posimoto executive director Tia Dixon.

Executive Director Tia Dixon started the non-profit afterschool and Saturday program as a place for children to be enriched with positive life skills to help build their future. They do the traditional afterschool activities but the curriculum is also built around sports, eating healthy and growing into healthy, responsible young adults.

"Before Posimoto he was a little bit of a handful," said parent Robyn Colletti.

Robin Colletti said since her son Isaiah started with the program, he’s been more responsible and respectful.

“[Isaiah] is now helping around the house,” said Colletti. “He's been respectful and he appreciates me a lot more."

"When I'm bad it's not fun because you get in trouble but when I'm good I get rewarded and get good things," said Isaiah Jackson who attends Posimoto.

"They have the opportunity to come here and learn something and go out and use it to be successful in life," said Dixon.
