A 24-year-old woman has been arrested for DUI after deputies stopped her driving the wrong way early Monday morning.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, on May 18, 2015 at approximately 3:56 a.m. a deputy responded to a 911 call in reference to a wrong way driver in the area of the Veterans Expressway and Dale Mabry Highway.
Upon arrival, the sheriff's office said he observed a black in color 4-door vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed southbound in the northbound lanes.
The deputy caught up to the vehicle running parallel and activated his emergency equipment and stopped the vehicle, a 2005 Chevy Cobalt.
The driver, Carly Ann Coughlin, of Tampa, was arrested for DUI with blood alcohol levels at .150/.145.
