Three people were arrested in a restaurant robbery in Seminole Heights Sunday night.

The incident occurred at the Fodder & Shine Restaurant at 5910 North Florida Avenue around 11 p.m.

According to police, the suspects entered the back door of the restaurant and robbed the employees at gunpoint.

Police said one suspect forced an employee to open the safe and remove cash while the other suspects robbed the employees. They took off in a Mitsubishi Lancer.

Extra officers were in the area due to a recent robbery pattern and pursued the vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle and the suspects fled on foot in different directions.

Air Service was above on patrol and directed the officers to the suspects. After a foot pursuit, all three suspects were caught. A stolen handgun and the stolen property were found in the vehicle.

Devin Smith, 27, is charged with armed robbery, fleeing to elude, and driving with a suspended license.

Alexander Jackson, 23, is charged with armed robbery, carrying a concealed firearm, felon in possession of a firearm.

Darrel Poole, 26, is charged with armed robbery, carrying a concealed firearm, felon in possession of a firearm.

Police said they are suspects in last week's robbery of The Independent Bar and Restaurant as well as several additional robberies.
