A few isolated storms will move in off the Gulf tonight, but otherwise you can expect partly cloudy skies.

Lows will be in the mid 70s inland and low 80s at the coast for Wednesday morning.

Slightly drier air will keep the rain coverage down for Wednesday with only isolated storms forming and moving eastward across the area.

Highs will be in the mid 90s, except for low 90s near the coast.

A waterspout was spotted earlier this morning near Clearwater Beach. The radar velocity display of the waterspout at 10:15 a.m. noted a very weak rotation. There were no heavy showers or thunderstorms in the area at the time.

Weak surface high pressure off the west coast of Florida will move slowly north and east by midweek. There will be lighter onshore winds and afternoon sea breezes will tend to not have much movement inland.

For the 4th of July weekend, it will be partly sunny with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms each day.

High temperatures will be slightly above normal with afternoon highs in the low to mid 90s Saturday and Sunday.

Morning low temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s.

As the area of high pressure continues to move north, a southeast to east wind will develop with mainly afternoon and evening thunderstorms expected early next week.
