Three suspects have been formally charged with first-degree murder in a Bradenton home invasion that left a man and woman dead.

A grand jury returned indictments Thursday for 33-year-old Terez Jones, 18-year-old Jimmie Mcnear and 18-year-old Trey Nonombre. The trio had previously been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Florida law requires a grand jury indictment for prosecutors to seek the death penalty.

Police found Esther Deneus and her boyfriend, Kantral Markeith Brooks, shot to death in their home earlier this month. The couple's five children, between the ages of 1 and 11, were in the home. Police say at least one witnessed the shooting.

Surveillance footage shows three masked suspects breaking the windows of the front door and then shooting into it multiple times.
