Happy Fourth of July weekend!

And what better way to celebrate than with devices filled with gunpowder and other chemical components that when ignited, cause spectacular explosions and displays of color and light across the sky.

You know—fireworks.

Tampa

Scope out your spot at Cotanchobee Ft. Brooke Park in Tampa right in front of the Tampa Bay History Center-- it is the perfect spot off the Riverwalk and the Garrison Channel to watch 9 p.m. fireworks.

Maybe you are looking for something a little more beachy for the fireworks?

St. Petersburg

Why not check out Spa Beach in St. Petersburg.

Actually, any of the waterfront parks would be perfect viewing for the fireworks that go near the Pier.

Clearwater

Coachman Park is the scene for Clearwater’s big Independence Day celebration.

It kicks off at 4 p.m.

The fireworks display is at 9:30 p.m.
