A Pasco County man is warning residents of a bobcat that is visiting his neighborhood and eating his livestock.

Nathan Howe, a teacher at Sunlake High School, said over the last few days something killed all of his prized animals, including his house-trained peacock, Cricket. He keeps chickens, turkeys, and a variety of other animals on his property off State Road 54 and Vandline, near the Wesley Chapel District Park.

Determined to find out what it was, Howe set up a camera and caught a bobcat having a very close encounter with his pet cat. Howe posted the video on his Facebook page on Thursday.

Howe said he's concerned because many families with children and animals live nearby and the bobcat appears to be "relentless."

Howe said he's lived in the neighborhood for years, and have never had a problem with anything touching his animals. He believes the new development in Pasco County is to blame for the bobcat's appearance.
