A Bradenton couple has several ‘awkward’ photographs to remember the time they told their children about their new sibling.
Awkward- because the family submitted the series of photographs to the popular website awkwardfamilyphotos.com, which posted them under the title “The Evolution of a Pregnancy Announcement.”
When Tim and Mindy Boyd found out they were (surprise!) pregnant with a fifth child, they decided to hire a photographer to capture the moment when they told their four other children.
In the photos taken by Lisa Stockton, of Lisa Stockton Photography in Bradenton, the parents hold a sign saying Mommy’s got a BABY in her tummy.
They’re surrounded on Coquina Beach by their children, who at first seem oblivious to the sign.
In his submission to the Awkward Family Photos website, Tim Boyd wrote, “the kids reactions over the pictures are awesome. You can actually see it 'sink in.'”
The baby is due at the beginning of April, joining siblings Grace, Will, Eden, and Silas.
