Winter Haven Police, along with the State Fire Marshal's Office and Polk County Sheriff's Office, investigated the threat at the Winter Haven theme park.

A bomb threat was made at the property and an evacuation was started at both the theme park and hotel for the safety and security of the guests and employees.

The entire park and hotel was evacuated of both guests and employees by 1 p.m. There were no injuries reported.

The employees moved to a staging area in the northwest part of the property near the water park.

The park remained closed the rest of the day.

No explosive devices were found, and authorities said the park would return to normal operations Friday.

Guests staying at the hotel were being allowed back on the property.

The case is still under investigation.
