St. Petersburg police are investigating a shooting after a man's body was found in a car at an apartment complex.

According to police, neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots at 4 a.m. near the Disston Place Apartments at 3900 55th Street North.
When officers responded, they found Johnny Tazz Brown, 36, with gunshot wounds.
Police detectives said they do not believe the shooting is random.
According to records from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Brown was previously arrested on charges of domestic battery, false imprisonment and fleeing/eluding.
