Pinellas Park Police is investigating a fatal crash on U.S. 19 involving a car and a motorcycle.
Officials say the crash occurred in the southbound lanes of U.S. 19 in the 8500 block. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was uninjured. However, a young female passenger in the car was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Currently, only one southbound lane is open while investigators work the crash scene.
