Here's what you need to know about Tampa Bay area weather for the weekend.

  • Warmer than average temperatures
  • Very little chance for rain

Skies will be partly cloudy through morning.  Lows will continue a few degrees above normal for this time of the year, with lows falling into the lower 60s across the Nature Coast, and upper 60s to near 70 around Tampa Bay.

The weather pattern will be dominated by the ridge of high pressure to the north over the next few days. The high will remain nearly in place, keeping northeasterly low level flow across the state.

Moisture will shift just enough to the north, so areas south of Tampa Bay can expect a bit more cloudiness on Sunday.

High temperatures Sunday will remain above normal in the mid to upper 80s.  The humidity will remain reasonable.

Upper level moisture remains too low for any rain chances.  Breezes will be a bit lighter on Sunday.

An upper trough moves north of the region to end this weekend.  As it pushes southeast, it will push some of the high clouds back down to the south for Monday and Tuesday.
