Here's your Tampa Bay area forecast for the overnight hours heading into Veterans Day weekend:

  • Skies mostly clear through Saturday morning
  • Temperatures below average for morning
  • Skies partly cloudy on Sunday

Skies will be mostly clear through morning. High pressure over Florida will keep dry conditions over the area through Saturday.

Sunny to mostly sunny skies can be expected with some high clouds around. Winds will remain light, allowing a sea breeze at the coast.

Temperatures will be a couple of degrees below average for the morning, with lows in the upper 40s in the Nature Coast and low to mid 50s elsewhere. It will warm up slightly on Saturday, with normal temperatures expected.

A weak cold front or a trough of low pressure will be approaching from the north late Saturday/early Sunday, bringing increasing moisture to the area. High pressure along the mid-Atlantic coast will maintain pleasant dry conditions and light northeast to east-northeast winds Saturday night through Sunday.

Skies will be partly cloudy on Sunday. Highs will continue to be around 80 to 82.

During Monday an upper level trough starts moving into the Southeast. This will support increasing chances for some rain Monday afternoon into early Tuesday morning.
