Authorities in Pasco County said Robert K. Rees Memorial Park is open after an "exhaustive" search for a reported body.

The search started Friday at the park, located in New Port Richey just west of U.S. 19.

It ended at 6 p.m. Friday, then resumed Saturday morning.

Shortly before noon Saturday, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said no body was found, and the park was reopened.

The sheriff's office said the validity of the tip it received is still being investigated.
