A Hillsborough County teacher of disabled children has been arrested and charged with molestation.

According to Tampa police, 68-year-old George Summers of Tampa was arrested Wednesday and charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a disabled person.
Officers said Summers, a teacher at the LaVoy Exceptional Center in Tampa, inappropriately touched a disabled teenage student on campus on Dec. 1.
Summers was removed from the classroom and police were called.
Detectives later interviewed Summers and he was arrested at his home on Wednesday.
