Authorities said a man was hit and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning.

The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. on Boyette Road.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said Graeme W. Hill was a self-admitted patient at the River Oaks Treatment Facility and that he arrived at the building "belligerent and impaired" at 1:30 a.m.
He later left the facility, walked across Boyette Road and was hit by a 2015 Nissan Altima, according to deputies.
Hill was pronounced dead at the scene, and his next of kin in Illinois was notified.
The incident is still under investigation.
