Here's what you need to know about Tampa Bay's weather for Saturday night and Sunday:

  • Bay Area temps from upper 30s to low 40s
  • Temps will warm up into low 70s on Sunday
  • Plenty of sunshine

West-to-east flow will remain in place aloft, keeping the pattern quiet for Florida.

Surface high pressure centered over the northern Gulf Coast will continue to move eastward through Sunday.

The high will be centered right over North Florida toward dawn, setting up clear and calm conditions. This will allow areas of frost to form across the Nature Coast again. Low temperatures will bottom out in the 30s and 40s for the most part, with just a few spots right off the Gulf likely to remain in the 50s near Tampa Bay and south.

As for the rest of Sunday, the most significant change from Saturday will be the high temperatures. High pressure will shift out into the western Atlantic Ocean through the end of the day, giving us more of an easterly flow and helping to moderate temperatures.

This will boost afternoon temperatures into the low to mid 70s. Expect mostly sunny skies.
