Here's what you need to know about Monday's weather in the Tampa Bay area:

Skies will go between mostly clear and partly cloudy overnight into early Tuesday morning. There will be areas of thick fog in some spots to start the day with morning lows in the 60s.

Tuesday will be a nice day across the region. There will be some areas of sea fog near the coast, but otherwise you can expect mostly sunny skies, because the winds will blow from the west off the Gulf temperatures will be cooler near the coast and much warmer inland. Highs will range from 80 near the coast to upper 80s over inland areas.

Tuesday night will be partly cloudy with areas of thick fog developing. Lows will again be in the 60s.

Wednesday will be just as warm with light winds and possible fog. Expect increasing clouds on Thursday ahead of the next weather system. Warm temperatures will continue.

Wednesday will be another nice day with a very similar set up. Skies will go between mostly sunny and partly cloudy. High temperatures will top out in the low 80s for coastal regions and upper 80s inland.

Moisture will gradually increase in the atmosphere as we move into late week. So expect a lot more clouds around Thursday into Friday with a rain chance coming in Friday into Saturday.

The boating forecast will be much better the next couple days with lighter winds from the west.
