St. Petersburg police have released the name of the 31-year-old man who was shot and killed leaving a barbershop Monday night.
Authorities said Dontavian Fleming was shot while leaving the ATL Barber Shop on the 2900 block of 18th Avenue South at about 7:45 p.m.
Police said the shooting occurred in front of several witnesses. Fleming was taken to Bayfront Health, where he died.
The shooting remains under investigation.
