St. Petersburg police have identified a suspect in an April 7 homicide and are asking the public's help in locating him.
Detectives issued a warrant for the arrest of Juan Carlos Jimenez, 33, in the murder of Shermaun Akins. Akins, 32, was found dead in the parking lot of the Alta Mar at Broadwater Apartments on April 7.
A teenager found Akins' body while walking to school. Akins reportedly died of upper body trauma.
