Woman, 25, killed trying to pass car on Old U.S. 41

A 25-year-old woman was killed early Friday in a crash on Old U.S. 41 in Tampa.

• Deputies say the crash occurred just before 4 a.m. Friday
• Ana Arias, 25, attempted to pass a vehicle she was following
• Arias' car struck a vehicled parked off the paved roadway
  

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office,  Ana Arias was southbound on Old US 41 following another vehicle Friday just before 4 a.m.

Arias then attempted to pass the other vehicle to the right, off the paved roadway, and struck a parked car on the side of the road.

The Lexus rolled, ejecting Arias.

She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
