A fugitive wanted in Montana has been arrested in Weeki Wachee, Florida.

  • Emily Ann Morris, 43, was charged with vehicular homicide by Monatana authorities
  • She was apprehended in Hernando County on Tuesday
  • Local Sherriff's Office and U.S. Marshals partnered for the case

Emily Ann Morris, 43, was wanted in Powell County, Montana, for a conditional release violation on a original charge of vehicular homicide. 

Morris was taken into custody on the 5400 block of Circle Dr. at approximately 10:32 a.m. Tuesday after returning home with her husband.

She was transported to the Hernando County Detention Center.

Montana authorities will arrange for Morris to be transported back to Montana.

Detectives with the Hernando County Sheriff's Office Warrants Unit, along with members of the U.S. Marshals Service Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force were involved in the apprehension.
