A fugitive from New Jersey confessed to stealing thousands of dollars of Legos from Toys "R" Us locations across the country.

Pasco Sheriff's Office said Shannon Kirkley, 35, put up a fight when they confronted him for stealing at the big box retailer's Wesley Chapel location Tuesday. According to reports, Kirkley used a toy chest to conceal $300 worth of Legos.

Deputies say they have access to surveillance video from the incident.

He was charged with resisting an officer, possession of cocaine and paraphernalia. According to reports, Kirkley confessed to the theft post-Miranda.
