A massive fire broke out at the Walmart on Roosevelt Boulevard in Largo Wednesday afternoon.

The four alarm-fire brought more than two dozen units from surrounding cities to the store located 2677 Roosevelt Boulevard, near U.S. Highway 19 and East Bay Drive.
The fire broke out around 12:50 p.m. Flames and smoke were seen pouring from the roof of the store, which opened in January in 2014.
"I was at the register waiting to pay and I heard this big noise and I thought it was like a forklift hitting something or dropping a big load and then over the intercom I heard them say we need to evacuate the store," said Twila Bailey.
Bailey said everybody did a good job getting out of the store. Dozens of Walmart workers could be spotted in the parking lot. Bailey got scared when she saw more explosions.
"When I came outside I looked at the roof and there was all this smoke coming out," she said. "So, I started videotaping and another huge explosion. It was crazy."
Officials are not releasing a cause yet but a witness said he heard it started with a unit on the roof.
"I heard someone say that it was maybe an air conditioner that went up," said Scott Elfstron.
Once the fire was under control, a massive burn mark could be seen by air in the roof of the structure.
Firefighters were able to knock the fire down in about 20 minutes.
None of the customers or workers were injured in the fire. But a Largo fire spokesperson says three firefighters had to be transported to the hospital for heat exhaustion.
