So the latest Powerball numbers are in. Will there finally be a winner for that jackpot?
- Jackpot soared to $422 million
- A winner tonight would be the first since May 7
Tonight's winning numbers are:
10 - 47 - 50 - 65 - 68 - 24
The Powerball jackpot soared to $422 million thanks to nearly three months without a winner of the big prize.
A ticket with numbers matching the five balls and red Powerball in Wednesday night's drawing, would be the game's first jackpot winning ticket since May 7. If there is a winning ticket on Wednesday, it would come just three weeks after a player in Indiana won a $536 million Mega Millions prize.
So how much would that be, exactly, after taxes?
A winner electing to take their winning in a lump sum would net roughly $291 million. In comparison, a winner choosing to taking their prize in installments would get paid out over 29 years.
The odds of winning Powerball sit at 292.2 million-to-1.
