The 24-year-old man shot Wednesday morning in Tampa has died.

According to Tampa police, Marquette Dames died at an area hospital on Thursday.
Dames was shot near Fowler Avenue and 15th Street.
Witnesses said that an unidentified man shot Dames and then rode off on a bicycle, which he later discarded. At this time no arrest has been made. The shooting does not appear to be random, police said.
