A Pasco County man accused of killing four people in 2014 may learn today when he will face trial.

Adam Matos is scheduled to appear at a pre-trial hearing.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Matos, 30, killed his former girlfriend Megan Brown, 27, her new boyfriend Nicholas Leonard, 37, and her parents Margaret and Greg Brown, both 52, in September 2014 in Hudson.

Their bodies were discovered in a field off Old Dixie Highway near their Hudson home.

Matos was arrested at a Tampa hotel after a massive manhunt. He is facing four counts of first-degree murder.

More than 300 witnesses needed to be interviewed before the trial could proceed.
