Man charged in connection with Wednesday's Bradenton murder

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has arrested and charged man involving a Bradenton murder on Wednesday, January 11. 

Barry Baer, 20, is charged with murder in connection with the deaht of Hollant Adrien, 56, of Sarasota. 

Adrien was found Wednesday morning in the middle of a Bradenton street.

According to Sheriff's Office Spokesman Dave Bristow, the 56-year-old man was found dead at 6 a.m. in the intersection of 58th Ave East and 21st Street East. 

Officials said there was trauma to Adrien's body and treated the case as a homicide. 

Officials said Baer was arrested Wednesday while driving Adrien's car and held on unreleated charges at the Manatee County jail. 

Alexander Turner, 18, a passenger in the stolen vehicle, was arrested on violation of probation. He remains in the Manatee County jail with additional charges pending. However, he has not been charged in connection with the murder.
