A bicyclist was killed Sunday in a crash in Manatee County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 8:11 p.m. on US-41, just south of Orlando Avenue.
Ronnie Allen, 46, of Bradenton, was in the center lane on his bicycle. According to troopers, Allen hit the right side of a Honda Civic that was traveling north on US-41.
Allen fell off of his bike and was run over by a Chevy Blazer that was traveling behind him, according to FHP.
Allen died at the scene.
