A 29-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning.
The accident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. at Court Street and Chestnut Street in Clearwater, according to officials.
Police said the man was riding a motorcycle and believe high speeds were a factor in the crash.
The victim was pronounced dead on scene.
Both streets were temporarily closed for several hours in the morning during the investigation. The roads were reopened around 8:15 a.m.
