Tuesday is a special day at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

It's Winter the Dolphin's birthday.

The fun loving star of "Dolphin Tale" turns 12 years old and remains an inspiration for kids and families all over the world.

Winter was rescued from a crab trap in 2005, which resulted in the loss of her tail.

She now uses a proshtetic tail.

Winter's buddy, Hope, is also celebrating a birthday this week. Hope is turning 7.
