St. Petersburg Police released the identity of a man who was stabbed to death Sunday evening.

The incident happened just before 6 p.m. in the 600 block of 28th Street South.

Police said Adrian Demetrious Johnson, 50, had been fighting with his neighbor, 39-year-old Wayman Swilley.

During the argument, Swilley stabbed Johnson, according to investigators.

Johnson was taken to Bayfront Hospital where he died.

Swilley remained at the scene and cooperated with police, authorities said.

Police said no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.
