Watch for areas of thick fog again for your Wednesday morning. Visibility will be greatly reduced in many areas making for slow commutes.

  • Lows on Wednesday in 60s, with high near 80
  • Weak cold front Thursday, few showers possible

Morning lows will again be mild in the 60s to upper 50s.

The fog will take a few hours to break up, but will slowly lead to partly sunny skies for the afternoon. There will be some areas of sea fog over the Gulf that don’t break up all day.

Highs will generally be in the upper 70s to near 80 inland, but near the coast the highs will be cooler in the low to mid 70s.

The main storyline Wednesday night will again be areas of thick fog. Lows will be in the 60s to upper 50s.

Thursday will feature variably cloudy skies with a front getting very close to our area. It will stall near Citrus County.

There will be a couple showers along the front, but otherwise we don’t expect significant rain.

Because the front will stall, it won’t bring us any cooler air. However, the wind direction will shift on Thursday into Friday, therefore pushing any leftover fog out of the area.

Highs on Thursday will again be near 79.

The warm air will stick around into the weekend, but the newest data is now showing a strong cold front moving through on Christmas day. We'll be watching and fine-tuning the extended forecast.
