High pressure will dominate our weather keeping winds light allowing areas of fog to develop again overnight and into the morning.

Low temperatures will be in the mid 50s in our northern counties and the 60s in Tampa Bay.

Fog will linger in the morning, eventually becoming low clouds through the late morning on Saturday. Temperatures will not move up fast while the clouds linger.

The afternoon will become partly cloudy then temperatures will jump to around 80. Winds in the afternoon will become southwest, so the beaches will be cooler.

The rest of the weekend will feature above-normal temperatures with highs around 80 degrees and low temperatures in the upper 50s to upper 60s. Fog will be around at night and into the morning.

A cold front will move toward our area Sunday night into Monday. This will bring a chance of a couple showers Sunday night into Christmas Day. The rain chance is only 20 percent.

Cooler weather is expected on Christmas Day. High temperatures will be in the low 70s.

Monday night will be chilly with low temperatures in the 40s north to 50s for Tampa Bay.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly sunny with low humidity with high temperatures in the mid 70 to upper 70s.

Another front is likely by next weekend.
