A 21-year-old man faces charges after the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said he crashed his vehicle into White Trout Lake.

Leroy Henry was charged with fleeing to elude, driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of a crash, among other charges.
The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. Friday. A deputy witnessed a vehicle swerving in the area of Waters Avenue and Himes Avenue and attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled.
Witnesses later told deputies that a vehicle had crashed into the lake.
A witness and three deputies jumped into the lake to see whether anyone was in the vehicle, and a dive team was able to determine nobody was inside.
A woman later arrived at the scene and told deputies she received a call from her son, who said he had been involved in a crash.
Deputies found a man "soaking wet" in the area of Sligh Avenue and Himes Avenue. He was identified as Henry and faces charges.
