Randy Wiseman, a small business owner from Mount Dora, formally joined the 2018 race for governor in Lakeland on Saturday.

The Libertarian candidate made the announcement during the party’s Regional Coalition Conference.

Wiseman is a new comer to the Libertarian Party. He changed his political affiliation from Republican just last year.

He is also a former chairman of the Lake County School Board.

Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, 37, announced earlier this month that he’s running for governor. Another Democratic, Orlando businessman Chris King, has also thrown his hat into the ring.
