A pedestrian was killed in a hit and run Saturday night in Pasco County.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash that occurred at Rowan Road and Alderman Lane around 9:15 p.m.
Troopers said Dale Kiser, 54, was lying in the northbound lane of Rowan Rd. at Alderman Ln. when a vehicle traveling northbound on Rowan collided with Kiser.
Kiser was pronounced dead on scene. It's unknown why Kiser was lying in the road.
The investigation is ongoing and troopers are asking anyone with information to call (813) 631-4020.
